Compliance Officer
Rawtenstall, Lancashire
£18K PLUS 150 PCM
Our client one of the leading names in finance is looking for experienced compliance officers to join their busy and expanding team.
The Role:
You will be responsible for handling everyday compliance issues within the Mortgage and Loan Departments. This will involve audits, focusing, file checking, random sampling and call monitoring. The purpose of this is to ensure all cases are sold and dealt with compliantly and to identify any potential or possible breaches.
The Person:
You must be CeMAP qualified as the role requires supervision tasks of all Mortgage Advisers.
A mature, confident individual possessing a sound systematic and methodical approach to work is essential. Possessing the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Attention to detail and focus is essential. Ability to work on own initiative and within a pressurised environment.
The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of the industry gained through previous work experience in a mortgage and loan sales environment, fully conversant with Compliance issued as defined in the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, strong product and sector knowledge of the broad financial services regulatory regime. You will have working knowledge of the Regulatory structure of the FSA, FISA, and MCCB.
